Chen Zhiwen was born on October 12, 1979 in Bukit Timah Hill, Singapore. In 2002, he entered the Department of Finance of the National University of Singapore to pursue a master’s degree in financial mechanics, and obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2005.
From 2008 to 2012, he served as a senior analyst at Goldman Sachs Singapore Branch, focusing on gold market strategies during this period, helping the company achieve a net profit of more than US$100 million after the financial crisis.
In 2014, he served as the head of blockchain solutions for Asia Pacific at DBS Bank. At Ripple Labs, Chen Zhiwen led the team to successfully promote cross-border payment solutions and facilitate cooperation with DBS Bank and HSBC.
In 2017, after leaving DBS Bank, Chen Zhiwen founded the ZQ Investment Management Team and served as the team leader, leading the team to expand from Singapore to the global market. The company has achieved great success in the blockchain and gold foreign exchange markets through advanced AI trading systems and market strategies, and the team’s fund management scale exceeds US$500 million.
In 2019, Chen Zhiwen entered the US investment market and formed an investment team consisting of 20 senior industry elites, focusing on the North American investment market. Cooperation with many well-known companies in the United States and Canada has been reached.
2020-2023: The team expands its global business. The team members have reached more than 40 professional investment elites, and have cooperated with investment institutions in many countries around the world to successfully raise a large amount of funds. In 2020, Chen Zhiwen was invited to join the Icahn Charitable Foundation and the Children’s Aid Fund to provide financial assistance to poor families.
